Video: This Puyo Puyo is the most Puyo Puyo
Puyo Puyo is great. We’ve told you that already. You can even play it through a few Western 3DS releases now! But here’s the thing: that’s not enough Puyo.
Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary was released for, well, the series’ 20th anniversary, and on a few platforms. It compiles all the rules variations the franchise has seen over the years, and then adds in some new ones just for fun. It’s a lot of Puyo. And as you can see in our video of the 3DS version, a lot of Puyo is a lot of fun.
If you want to play some Puyo without importing this game (or Puyo Puyo Tetris, which is really the one to own), as of this week you can pick up the classic Tsuu edition in a collection with a bunch of other Sega classics! It’s, um, called Sega 3D Classics Collection.
Topics include: Fan-favorite characters, the “good” Puyo, ruining days, fever dreams, kicking and pointing, good advice, flipping out.
