Video: Beat pals in Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun
Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun is headed to the West later this year! But, um, we already have it. The game released in Japan and Asia as Taiko no Tatsujin: Nintendo Switch Version, but it contains full English support and all of the same songs and games, so we figured we’d show you what all it has to offer!
In this video, we try our best (despite some capture equipment delays) to show you the game’s special companion characters (like Kirby and Inkling Squid), rhythm-based multiplayer minigames and eclectic song list. We hope you learn a bit about it and know whether you’ll want to check it out! There’s also some motion controls in the game for the first time in the series, but you’d have to try that out for yourself! But probably maybe don’t? The game requires very precise timing.
Topics include: Drums, fun, Kirby, YouTube, fun animations you won’t see when you’re playing, sushi orders, jumpin’ at the right time.
